I am so excited to share these images! I’d been planning Sarah’s session for ages in my head. This beautiful young lady is a dear, dear friend and miracle worker, my beloved babysitter. She is a country girl, through and through, so her senior portraits had to be taken at a farm. Luckily, we live right in the middle of beautiful Kentucky countryside and had access to the perfect location. She came over early with clothes, wait, no, an entire wardrobe to sort through! I love it when I get to help style my sessions. We picked out some fantastic outfits and then went to work on her hair and makeup. Not overdone mind you, just that subtle touch that would complement her perfectly. Then off we went. The timing was critical because we wanted to be in the creek on one side of the farm than race to the other to catch the sunset. We were very efficient, and quite comical, racing around in cowboy boots, high heals, dresses … you name it, but we made it. What a blast and I’ve got to say, her images turned out exactly the way I imagined. <3
