I love to start a First Birthday shoot outside if the weather is nice and on this early fall afternoon it was absolutely perfect. Ok, maybe a little windy, I lost a few balloons setting up. It’s amazing how sharp grass can really be! Luckily I had plenty in the bunch so we were just fine. It’s much easier to do a One year old session before they really start to walk but that’s not always possible. This little one was already on the move but I found that in the grass she was more inclined to stay put. I love this age, so full of smiles and wonder.
She loved the balloons! I was surprised that she didn’t pull them down farther but she posed perfectly! It’s hard to believe how fast they grow up. You blink and they go from newborn to toddler. I’m always thrilled when I get to watch them grow and see their little personalities shine!
After these sweet pictures we moved onto her cake smash.
